We're starting with crochet because it's a creative hobby full of practical questions — what materials to choose, how to plan a project, and how to price handmade products fairly. Our goal is to make those decisions easier with understandable guides and practical tools.
The name KindlyWis leaves room for new categories in the future, but we're intentionally keeping the initial site focused so that each guide is useful to the people who find it.
How we work
We research questions, explain assumptions, check calculations, and distinguish firsthand testing from desk research. We use digital tools, including AI assistance, to help develop and edit content, but we don't treat generated text as evidence of expertise.
